About iSHINE

Welcome y’all! I am excited that you have found your way to iSHINE. My heart and prayers for this God-given ministry is that over the next year or more, as we come together in prayer for our nation, that it would help bring the unity we so desperately need to our beautiful country. My hope is that we start to bridge the gaps of division that are plaguing our families, churches and communities. Specifically the divisions of generations, denominations, races, politics and every other divisive thing we face on a daily basis in our lives all across the United States of America.

So what exactly does iSHINE mean? It is this: I am Shepherding/Sharing the Word of God, Humbly in prayer, Interceding for all, in National love and hope filled, Expressions of faith. All of these things come together as we shine God’s light on all of our brothers and sisters in God’s beautiful earth. It all starts with the Word and humbly serving those around us with Truth and compassion.

I am a firm believer that prayer always changes things. It may not immediately change your circumstances but it will always change you. I hope that as we journey together over the next year, that you will reach out with any personal prayer requests (they can be made anonymous if you prefer) and/ or if you have any insight to strategic prayers for a specific state.

Thank you for choosing to join us on this journey of prayer for our great nation and most importantly for God’s glory!

Blessing and peace,

Amanda and the iSHINE team

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

-Jesus, John 17:20-23
